PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple deburring method and deburring device, efficiently and surely removing burr at the peripheral edge part of a through hole having a circular section formed in a workpiece, and not unnecessarily damaging the surface of the work. SOLUTION: The workpiece 1 provided with a hole h formed to have a circular section, is fixed, and a rotating shaft of a disk-like deburring instrument 4 having a polishing part on the outer edge part is inclined at a predetermined angle to the axis of the hole h of the workpiece 1. The deburring instrument 4 is abutted on the workpiece 1 in the axial direction of the hole h while being rotated, and radially moved from one end of the peripheral edge part through the center of the hole h in the direction of crossing the hole h to the end part point-symmetrical about the center of the hole h to one end of the peripheral edge part while being pressed in the axial direction of the hole h, thereby removing burr at the peripheral edge of the hole h.
