A wooden building for preventing distortion of a wooden wall is provided to prevent deformation of the building by freely contracting and expanding the wooden wall with a distortion preventive space between a wooden beam and the wooden wall, and to construct the wooden building simply by installing a roof with plural beams. A wooden building includes plural wooden columns(10) vertically installed on a floor(50) and provided with rail grooves(11) formed at sides and projections(12) formed in upper parts, a wooden beam(20) formed by assembling plural wooden members, fixed to the wooden column and provided with a recess(23) to which the projection of the wooden column is inserted, and a wooden wall(30) formed by stacking plural wooden blocks fitted to the rail grooves of the wooden column. A distortion preventive space is formed between the wooden block and a lower part of the wooden beam, and a molding is installed in the distortion preventive space to cover the distortion preventive space.
