Method for monitoring the state of a current collector

The method involves measuring the contact force (F kontakt) between a current conductor and each of the measuring points (25-27) at both ends (18,19) and the center (20) of the loop element of a current conductor, with respect to the strain (eta l,eta m,eta r) of each measuring point. The wear of the loop element can be determined based on the contact force/s and the strains.
