The method involves storing information data (22) in a memory device of a terminal, and transmitting the data between a communication network and the terminal over an interface. A data-menu structure with a menu file is implemented in the terminal. Two or several menu file-substructures (20, 30) are produced for the menu file within the structure. Different types of information data are filed in the menu file-substructures, respectively. The information data is navigated by a navigation unit (15). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a terminal for use with a communication network (2) a system for handling the information data, comprising a terminal.
