A heat exchanger passage forming structure of a boiler is provided to make the heat exchanger passage forming structure slim by burying a pipe connection section formed the outer side of a side plate into a cap member. A heat exchanger passage forming structure of a boiler includes a heat exchanger(10), a cap member(20), and a partition(30). The heat exchanger heats water supplied into the interior by the heat generated by a burner to a predetermined temperature to provide heating water. The heat exchanging pipe(13) is installed on the inner side of a body casing. The cap member is formed at an inlet/outlet section(14) and a discharge section(15) on the outer side of a side plate(12) of the heat exchanger. The cap member has a box shape communicated with a plurality of heat exchanging pipes. A pipe connection section(21) protruding from one side of the body is provided in the cap member. The cap member is connected to water supply and recovering pipes. The partition divides the interior of the cap member eccentrically.
