A rotation type punching apparatus is provided to freely perform punching at a wanted position without being restricted by a punching position of a sheet to be punched. A rotation type punching apparatus(10) includes an upper plate(120), a lower plate(140), first and second rotation units, and a guide unit(134). The upper plate includes a punching member(110) having a punching blade(112) and an upper jig(116) resiliently supporting the punching member and having a guide hole(118). The punching blade and the guide hole have the same pattern. The lower plate includes a lower jig(126) having a punching hole(128). The punching hole of the lower jig has the same pattern. The first and second rotation units are spaced apart from the upper plate and the lower plate to rotate the upper plate and the lower plate. The guide unit connects the upper and lower plates and the first and second rotation units. The upper plate and the lower plate have at least one magnet(124,153) so as to be mutually aligned by the magnet.
