An apparatus for regenerating a diesel particulate filter is provided to efficiently regenerate the diesel particulate filter even without using high temperature exhaust gas. An apparatus for regenerating a diesel particulate filter(22), which is arranged on an exhaust pipe(10) so as to filter and remove particulate material from the exhaust gas, comprises an injection unit(30) for removing particulate material from the diesel particulate filter by injecting an ordinary temperature fluid to the diesel particulate filter. The apparatus further includes a removed particulate recovery pipe(40) arranged at the side opposite to the injection unit so as to pass the removed particulate material; and a particulate storing unit(42) arranged at an end of the removed particulate recovery pipe so as to collect the particulate material.
