A limit switch mounting structure for an electric steering column is provided to improve reliability of the product by preventing malfunction of a limit switch, as well as simplifying the structure thereof by omitting an operative bracket and accordingly reducing the cost. A limit switch mounting structure for an electric steering column comprises a body part(100) of the steering column, a tilt housing(120), a limit switch(110), and a driving device. The tilt housing is disposed pivotably with respect to a hinge member(121) mounted to one side of the body part. The limit switch is mounted to one side of the tilt housing to inform ending of an operation area by being turned on by pivoting of the tilt housing. The driving device is mounted to the other side of the body part to operate the tilt housing. The driving device comprises a driving motor mounted to the other side of the body part, and a tilt rod(102) connected to the tilt housing to so that the tilt housing is pivoted by the driving motor. The tilt rod comprises a screw shaft.
