#CMT# #/CMT# The blade has mounting elements (20) one of which comprises a traverse slot provided at a distal end (26) of the element along a height of a rail (24). The slot interrupts the rail (24) that maintains a wiping blade (40). The slot is provided orthogonal to the rail. The blade has a complimentary retaining element (50) adapted to be removably secured at the slot and reproduces in same way as a rail`s missing part corresponding to the slot. The element (50) has a central part provided in the form of a bearing with a transversally arched shape. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for a wiping device of a motor vehicle (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The traverse slot is provided at the distal end of one of the mounting elements, along the height of the rail, so that the rail is interrupted in the neighborhood of the distal end. The retaining element effectively completes the rail`s missing part corresponding to the slot, thus permitting to maintain the homogeneity of the retaining function exerted by the rail on the wiping blade and maintaining the wiping quality. The wiping blade can therefore be detached and replaced in a simple manner, while avoiding undesired disengagement of the wiping blade during the utilization of the wiper blade. The transverse slot is provided along the height of the rail, thus permitting to maximize gripping of the wiping blade for facilitating its removal and installation.
