PURPOSE:To reduce the dispersion in the density by applying advance-read to all sheets with respect to plural stimulable phosphor sheets in which radiograph information of a same object is stored and recorded so as to set a common read condition and/or picture processing condition. CONSTITUTION:A stimulable phosphor sheet 103 in which radiographic information of an object is recorded is fed to an advance read reading section 30 and a laser beam 202 radiates over the entire face and the light is received by a photodetector 208, the result is inputted to a main read control section 314 of a main read section 40 as an advance read picture signal Sp to decide a read gain setting value (a), a recording scale factor setting value (b) and a reproduction picture processing condition setting value (c). The stimulable phosphor sheet 103 is transferred to the main read section 40 and when a laser beam 302 radiates to the sheet, a photodetector 310 detects a stimulated phosphorescent light, the main picture signal So is inputted to an optical modulator 401 of a picture reproduction section 50, deflected by a scanning mirror 404 and scans a photosensing material 405 and a radiograph is outputted. Thus, the dispersion in the density is reduced. |
