A combination for treating hyperlipemia, which contains the first active component acipimox, and the second active component atorvastatin, it's pharmaceutical salt, ester, or solvate. Weight ratio of the first and the second active component is (10-80): 1. The combination includes the form of tablet, capsule, granule or pill. The combination of acipimox and atorvastatin shows distinct synergism in reducing serum cholesterol, TG, LDL. Compare to the combination of acipimox and pravastatin or the combination of acipimox and lorvastatin, the combination of acipimox and atorvastatin is better at decreasing lipoprotein and increasing HDL. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
