Provided is a flame resistant thermoplastic resin composition, which shows excellent impact resistance and flowability while maintaining other physical properties, and is useful for producing electric and electronic components requiring stability against a fire accident. The flame resistant thermoplastic resin composition comprises: (A) 100 parts by weight of an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene(ABS) copolymer resin; (B) 0.1-30 parts by weight of an ethylene/alkyl (mth)acrylate copolymer represented by the following formula(1); (C) 5-30 parts by weight of a halogen-containing compound; (D) 1-15 parts by weight of antimony oxide; and (E) 1-10 parts by weight of a chlorine-containing organic compound. In formula(1), R1 is H or CH3; R2 is a C1-C12 alkyl including H, methyl, ethyl, propyl, isopropyl, butyl, sec-butyl, t-butyl, isobutyl, isoamyl or t-amyl; each of m and n represents a polymerization degree and the ratio of m:n is 300:1-10:90.
