A mobile terminal having a sound separating structure is provided to prevent sound interference by securing a sufficient space for outputting sound generated from a sound output unit of two or more channels implementing TV reception such as a DMB or a function of a PMP device. A terminal body(10) includes a screen display unit(11) and a battery. Rotating parts(20) are disposed at both sides of the terminal body(10) and rotated inside out. Hinge parts(30) connect the rotating parts(20) to the terminal body(10) such that they can be rotated. A key input unit(21) are positioned to be on the same plane as the screen display unit(11) at an initial stage, and in case of inside out, the key input unit(21) is positioned to be on the same plane as the battery. A sound output unit(22) is provided on a rear surface of the key input unit(21) and positioned on the same plane as the battery at the initial stage, and in case of inside out, the sound output unit(22) is positioned to be on the same plane as the screen display unit(11).
