<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide exterior structure capable of maintaining consistency between exterior plates without being influenced by an installation face or the like without causing the rise of manufacture cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the exterior structure having two adjacent exterior plates fixed in the main body of an image forming apparatus respectively, a plurality of projecting parts having the same height are disposed at least at the end of either of one exterior plate and the other exterior plate, and an elastic member joined with the main body part is provided at least on either of one exterior plate and the other exterior plate.
