<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the display format of a display part for displaying content, and to display not only the content but also the other information in a content processor for displaying the content. <P>SOLUTION: This content providing system is provided with a content processor having a display part for displaying content and an interlocking icon interlocking with the content in a first region and a function for, when predetermined conditions are satisfied by a signal received when the interlocking ion is displayed at the display part, changing the display format of the display part. When receiving a signal satisfying the predetermined conditions from a remote control device, the content processor changes the display format when the interlocking ion is displayed.
