VOICE CREATING METHOD AND VOICE CREATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice creating method which achieves not only exact translation processing but also a voice synthesis and voice output of higher quality than conventional one.

SOLUTION: There is provided the voice creating method comprising: a selection step which is carried out based on an input operation to a user interface and selects at least one example sentence described in a 1st language from a database holding two or more example sentences described in the 1st language and two or more example sentences in a 2nd language which correspond to those described in the 1st language; an edition step for editing the example sentence(s) selected by the selection step while adding predetermined parameter(s) thereto; a conversion step for converting the example sentence(s) described in the 1st language and edited by the edition step into the sentence(s) in the 2nd language; and a voice synthesis step for performing voice synthesis of the example sentence(s) converted by the conversion step and described in the 2nd language by a voice synthesis means corresponding to the 2nd language.
