PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic white color light emitting element capable of improving light emission efficiency of color purity and white color by changing a structure of a white color emission layer so as to be suited to a resonance structure, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The organic white color light emitting element comprises a first electrode, a hole transport part formed on the first electrode, a blue color light emitting layer formed on the hole transport part, a yellow color light emitting layer formed on the blue color light emitting layer, and a second electrode formed on the yellow color light emitting layer, on a substrate. The hole transport part and blue color emitting layer are made to have a prescribed thickness respectively, so that light emitted from respective light emitting layers interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode becomes white light having X-color coordinate of 0.27 to 0.39 and Y-color coordinate of 0.27 to 0.39.
