<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a compressed image of an image beforehand which a user wants to view next, and display an original image corresponding to the selected compressed image. <P>SOLUTION: The display apparatus comprises: an original image storage part for storing original images; an image compressing part for irreversibly compressing the original images stored in the original image storage part; a compressed image storage part for storing the images compressed by the original image compressing part; an original image display part for displaying the original images stored in the original image storage part; a compressed image display part for displaying compressed images different from the compressed images stored in the compressed image storage part in association with the original images displayed by the original image display part; and an operation part for letting a user browsing the compressed images displayed by the compressed image display part select an original image to be displayed next by the original image display part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
