PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deposit scraping device capable of dispensing with the adjustment of a drive chain. SOLUTION: The deposit scraping device 1 is equipped with a scraping-up stand 20 having a plurality of deposit scraping-up flights 12 for scraping up a deposit and a drive device 50 for reciprocally moving the scraping-up stand 20 with respect to the base 10b of a tank 10. The drive device 50 is constituted so that a casing 52 is arranged in the water of the tank 10 and a motor 51 is arranged to one end of the casing 52. In the casing 52, the shaft of the motor 51 is connected to the upper end of an intermediate shaft 62 and the lower end of the intermediate shaft 62 is connected to the shaft of a bevel gear 58. The bevel gear 58 is meshed with the bevel gear 59 attached to a drive shaft 61. The casing 52 has a watertight structure and the intermediate shaft 62 or the like is provided so as not to brought into contact with the water in the tank 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
