The invention relates to a coke oven operating unit (1) of a coke pushing machine and/or a coke transfer machine of a coke oven comprising a large number of neighbouring coking chambers (3), said unit being designed to catch residual coke and remove it from the area of the primary duct (2) of the coke oven. The unit comprises a scoop unit (4) with at least one coke scoop (5), the latter (5) adopting a catching position below an oven door of the coking chamber (3) in the vicinity of the base of the primary duct (2), in order to catch the residual coke and the residues that are cleaned from the oven. According to the invention, at least one suction unit (12) is situated on and/or in the coke scoop (5) to siphon off the emissions that are released in the vicinity of the coke scoop (5). |
