PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of easily setting a photographing range when the camera photographs a range wider than the imaging range of the camera a plurality of number of times in parts. SOLUTION: The camera provided with: an imaging element for photographing a prescribed photographing range; a display section for displaying an image photographed by the imaging element; and a recording means for recording the image photographed by the imaging element, displays an image including part tangent to a second photographing range in an image within a first photographing range recorded in the recording means onto part of the display section when the camera photographs the second photographing range tangent to the first photographing range after the first photographing range is photographed as an image. For example, when a direction from the first photographing range to the second photographing range is a right or a left direction, the image including a right end part or a left end part of the image in the first photographing range is respectively displayed onto the left side or the right side of the display section, and an image output from the imaging element is displayed on part of the display section whereon no image in the first photographing range is displayed.
