PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of improving accuracy of a distance between the rotary shaft of a spindle motor and the guide shaft of an optical pickup, and facilitating assembling. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a spindle motor 44 for rotary-driving an optical disk, an optical pickup 36 for irradiating a laser beam to the optical disk to receive the reflected beam of the laser beam reflected on the optical disk, guide shafts 54a and 54b extending the optical pickup in the moving direction of the optical pickup 36 in order to move the optical pickup in the radial direction of the optical disk to guide the movement of the optical pickup 36, and a mechanical chassis 32 to which the spindle motor 44 and the guide shafts 54a and 54b are fixed.
