PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polylactic acid resin composition having excellent heat resistance and mechanical properties and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The polylactic acid resin composition comprises a polylactic acid resin and another resin of at least one component. In the polylactic acid resin composition, the polylactic acid resin has crystal satisfying formula (1) w=d/L≥0.73 (1) and formula (2)α=w0/w≤0.45 (2) (w is degree of crystallization in the lamella crystal of the polylactic acid resin; d is thickness (nm) of the lamella crystal of the polylactic acid resin; L is a distance (nm) between the lamella crystals of the polylactic acid resin;αis a measure of denseness of the polylactic acid resin crystal; w0is the total degree of crystallization of the polylactic acid resin).
