FITTING FOR BEVERAGE CONTAINER

A fitting for a beverage container capable of completely preventing foreign matters and sewage from entering by eliminating a clearance between a ferrule and a mounting member and enabling the reduction of maintenance operations. The fitting comprises the ferrule for the beverage container having a valve seat part and a mounting part formed integrally with each other, a down tube supported on the mounting part, a gas valve fitted to the upper end part of the down tube, and a beverage valve installed at the upper end inner part of the down tube. The gas valve comprises a metal core (31a) and a largely flexible valve member. The flat outer peripheral part of the core comprises a constant diameter part (311) with a constant diameter and small diameter parts (312a) with a diameter smaller than that of the constant diameter part. The flat outer peripheral part is symmetrical with respect to both a first straightline (A) passed through the center of the core and the constant diameter part and a second straightline (B) crossing perpendicularly to the first straightline at its center. The gas valve is allowed to pass the center hole of the valve seat part in a tilted state. In a horizontal state, however, the gas valve is not allowed to pass the center hole of the valve seat part, and is replaceable through the center hole of the valve seat part.
