The spotlight (1) has a light emitting diode as illuminant and arranged in a housing (2), where a cooling ripples (20) are provided for the housing. An area is designed between the housing and a mounting part in an installed condition, where the housing is arranged in the mounting part in the installed condition. A coolant discharging channel e.g. diffuser, is formed in an upper area of the spotlight.
