PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glow plug energizing system that prevents deterioration caused by ion migration, a glow plug for use therein, and a glow plug controller. SOLUTION: In the glow plug energizing system for energizing the glow plug 2 mounted to an engine casing 1, the glow plug 2 is provided with two energizing terminals 3, 4 insulated from the engine casing 1, and a drive circuit 5 capable of applying power between the energizing terminals 3, 4 freely changeable between a positive electrode and a negative electrode is also provided. A switching control part 6 is provided for switching the drive circuit 5 between the positive electrode and the negative electrode at predetermined time intervals. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
