The support (T) has a set of mounting- and/or bearing areas that are arranged for retaining functional components of a motor vehicle door. The support is formed by a support plate (1) that is composed of metal and a support plate (2) that is made of plastic. The support plates are arranged in parallel along a surface that is clamped by circular outer edge areas (11, 21) of the support plates. A part of mounting- and/or bearing areas of the support is provided at the support plate (2).
