<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide alga salt containing extracted solution extracted from sea algae such as Eisenia and suitable for cooking because of having no bitter taste, and to provide a method for producing the alga salt. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the alga salt comprises extracting sea alga extract by boiling fresh water into which sea algae are put, adding a prescribed amount of natural salt dried in the sun to dilution water obtained by adding fresh water to the sea alga extract, and boiling the product to evaporate moisture to bring the whole product to a sherbet-like state followed by drying. Furthermore, the method comprises drying the sherbet-like salt in the sun, sorting the salt into fine grain-like fine salt and coarse grain-like coarse salt, crushing the coarse salt to bring to powdery salt, and mixing the powdery salt with the fine salt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
