<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To particularly evaluate how easily a user learns and gets accustomed to functions of equipment when the usability of the equipment is evaluated. <P>SOLUTION: A usability-evaluating device which is provided with an operation inputting part 12 receiving a user's request, and a biological signal detecting part 15 measures event-related electric potential which can be measured by an electroencephalograph as a user's reaction posterior to the operation of equipment. A function-evaluating part 16 evaluates how easily a user learns each function, how much a user is interested in each function and how deeply a user is skilled in each function according to the amplitude and a latent time of the event-related electric potential which periodically changes in response to the inner state of a user. By this, for example, it can be determined which function can easily be learned among the functions which are determined not to be operated as an action evaluation, and then a more detailed usability evaluation becomes possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
