STAINLESS STEEL WELDING SCALE REMOVAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stainless steel welding scale removal device for removing welding scale produced on the surface of stainless steel upon welding the stainless steel. SOLUTION: An electrolytic solution 2 for removing scale is charged into a vessel 1. A workpiece stand 3 is mounted inside the vessel 1. Stainless steel 4 after welding is placed on the workpiece stand 3. A liquid conveying pump 5 is mounted inside the electrolytic solution 2 for removing the scale in the vessel 1. The scale removal welding electrolytic solution 2 conveyed by a liquid conveying pump 5 is conveyed to the introduction port 7a of a pulse jet nozzle 7 through a liquid quantity controller 6. A reservoir is formed at the inside of the introduction port 7a to which the electrolytic solution 2 for removing scale is conveyed. The pulse jet nozzle is tilted from the reservoir to the tip in a tapering manner, and the nozzle is formed at the tip. A supporting member is mounted on the end part of the reservoir. An ultrasonic vibrator is mounted on the supporting member. An oscillator 9 is connected to the ultrasonic vibrator. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
