The system has a scraper blade (105) that is carried on a contact surface with a rolling surface. The scraper blade includes an adjusting unit, with which the scraper blade is adjusted for keeping contact with a scraper edge (106) and generated surface. The geometry and/or structure of the scraper blade and the direction of the adjustment are coordinated in such a manner that the scraping angle is held constant during adjustment of the scraper blade. An independent claim is also included for a machine for producing and/or processing a sheet of material in particular a sheet of fibrous material with a scraper system.
