<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent from a movable object from being inclined if the movable object is stopped by regulation members. <P>SOLUTION: A driver includes a piezoelectric element 24, a rod disposed at one end of the piezoelectric element, the movable object 30 frictionally engaged with the rod 25 and regulated by regulation members 22, 23 within a movable range, and drive pulse generating means 33, 34 for applying drive signals to the piezoelectric element 24. The drive pulse generating means 33, 34 apply the piezoelectric element 24 with the drive signals having a first waveform so as to vibrate the rod and make the movable object 30 approach the regulation member 22 when the movable object is moved to a position in which the movable object 30 is adjacent to the regulation members 22, 23. The drive pulse generating means 33, 34 temporarily apply the piezoelectric element 24 with the drive signals having a second waveform so as to vibrate the rod 25 and separate the movable object 30 from the regulation member 22 after the movable object abuts on the regulation member, and interrupt an application of the drive signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
