PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recorder by which real-time deletion of recording data can be performed during recording by a simple operation and recording operation conformed to the actual situation of e.g. a meeting etc. can be performed. SOLUTION: When a user operates a prescribed key of an operation part 19 during data recording to instruct partial deletion of an offset time, data recorded until the time are deleted backward by the offset time before the data are supplied from a DRAM (a first storing means) 13 to a mini-disk (a second storing means) 90 so that the data are not recorded in the mini-disk. The offset time can be set to be a previously fixed time value and to be selected from a plurality of time values.
