PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking system for accumulating pressure without electrically driving a motor or a pump and generating braking force by the accumulated pressure. SOLUTION: When it is recognized that a user operates a brake pedal 46 to make a braking request, a brake ECU calculates required braking force. Also, a master cut valve 54 is closed, and an accumulator cut valve 60 is opened. Then, hydraulic pressure generated in a master cylinder 42 is accumulated in an accumulator 58 by operation of the brake pedal 46, and regenerative braking is executed. When vehicle speed is predetermined speed or less, the accumulator cut valve 60 is closed, and the regenerative braking is gradually reduced. Also, a booster linear valve 64 is controlled to be opened, and the hydraulic pressure accumulated in a wheel cylinder 38 is supplied to perform hydraulic braking. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
