PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body locating device capable of establishing an accurate location even if a vehicle widely varies in type and body size. SOLUTION: A pressing part 37 of a position restriction mechanism part 7 arranged in line symmetry about the device center line Ca moves inward across the vehicle width, and thereby the pressing force for moving the body 1 in the direction across the vehicle width is given by the pressing part 37, and the body 1 moves in the direction across the vehicle width. Because at this time, body receiving mechanism parts 5 and 6 can move in following-up after the movement of the body and its moving amount is restricted by the moving position of the pressing part 37, the body center line Cb is positioned identical to the device center line Ca, and the location of the vehicle body (centering) is established.
