NON-LINEAR ION POST-FOCUSING APPARATUS AND MASS SPECTROMETER WHICH USES THE APPARATUS

A non-linear ion post-focusing apparatus and a mass spectrometer using the same are provided to improve efficiency of the whole mass spectrometer by implementing an ion, which progresses in a different direction, to reach an ion sensor at the same time. A mass spectrometer using a non-linear ion post-focusing apparatus includes an introducing unit(201), an ionizing unit(202), an accelerating unit(203), and a detection unit(207). The introducing unit introduces a particle. The ionizing unit ionizes the introduced particle. The accelerating unit accelerates the particle to other electric field according to a position of the ionized particle. The detection unit detects mass of the accelerated ion. The accelerating unit applies different energy to the spatially and differently distributed particle according to initial energy. The detection unit includes an ion sensor. The accelerating unit accelerates the ions so that the ions which have different initial energy and move in different directions reach to the ion sensor at the same time.
