A method for outputting a text message of a wireless head set is provided to solve a problem of the related art that because a headset wirelessly connected with a mobile terminal does not have a function of informing an arrival of a text message, while wearing the headset, the user cannot be informed the arrival of a text message. When a mobile terminal(100) receives a text message, it transmits a message arrival signal to a wireless headset(200)(S110,S120). The wireless headset(200) receives the text message arrival signal and outputs a text message arrival sound through a speaker(S210,S220). When a user requests checking of the text message, the wireless headset transmits a text message request signal to the mobile terminal(100)(S230). The mobile terminal converts the text message into a voice message(S130,S140), and transmits the converted voice message to the wireless headset(200)(S150). The wireless headset(200) receives the voice message and outputs it as a voice(S240).
