<p>A lower ring, a cover ring and a catch are all made from steel. Powder gases are discharged onto the upper surface of at least one the lower ring, cover ring and catch to form a ferric oxide layer (5) one to three micrometers thick. A connection layer (6) ten to fifteen micrometers thick is formed on the inside of the lower ring, cover ring and catch. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of a cover system.</p>
