A mobile terminal and its list moving method are provided to quickly search a corresponding item by simply inputting a jump key and execute it. A keypad(23) includes keys for inputting information on number and character and a setting key and a jump key according to a jump function setting mode. A memory(24) stores programs for moving a cursor to jump to a particular item corresponding to a number of a jump key when the jump key according to a side key and a number key is inputted in the jump function setting mode. A controller(25) sets the jump function setting mode, and controls a general operation for moving the cursor to jump to the particular item corresponding to the number of the jump key according to the input of the jump key. A display unit(26) displays screen data according to the jump function setting mode and a list according to a particular mode.
