PIEZOELECTRIC ULTRASONIC MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric ultrasonic motor having piezoelectric elements attached on an outer face of a metal tube.

SOLUTION: The piezoelectric ultrasonic motor is provided with: the hollow metal tube; and a plurality of piezoelectric elements attached on the outer face of the metal tube, and includes: a piezoelectric stator for bending and deforming the piezoelectric elements when an electric field is applied; a rotating bar inserted into a hollow section of the metal tube; a rotating member circumferentially formed on an outer circumference of the rotating bar so as to contact an upper face or a lower face of the piezoelectric stator and rotated by a bend and a deform of the piezoelectric stator; a rotor provided with a motive energy transmitting member formed on one side of the rotating member and transmitting a rotational force of the rotating member to an object to be transferred; and a power applying section for applying power required for driving the piezoelectric elements.
