<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record not only a broadcast signal, independently of the residual capacity for video recording but also effectively utilize a network. <P>SOLUTION: A video recording system includes TV receivers 100 and 100A connected to a network 2, and each of TV receivers 100 and 100A includes a tuner having the broadcast signal inputted thereto, a video recorder 121 for recording the broadcast signal, a reservation setting part 11 having video recording reservation information inputted thereto, and a comparison part 12 for determining whether the broadcast signal for a video recording time determined by video recording reservation information can be recorded with the residual capacity remaining in the video recorder 121, in response to the inputting of the video recording reservation information. The TV receiver 100 includes a proxy video recording instruction part 15 for instructing video recording to the TV receiver 100A, and the TV receiver 100A includes a video recording control part 17 which records video, in accordance with video recording reservation information, in response to reception of the vicarious video recording instruction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
