<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor controller for surely accommodating a stator in a housing without using a construction method for thermally fitting the stator to the housing. <P>SOLUTION: The electric motor has the housing 1 formed from an aluminum series material. A lower end of the electric motor 3 in the axial direction, a pinion mechanism 4 forwardly and backwardly rotated by motive energy transmitted from the electric motor and a drive circuit 5 for controlling a drive of the electric motor are accommodated in the housing 1. An upper end of the electric motor is accommodated, and an upper opening of the housing is occluded by a cover member 2 formed from an iron series material. In an assembly of the electric motor to the housing, a lower end of the stator is inserted from the upper opening into the housing, and the cover member is fixed to the housing by two screws 23, 23 after an upper end of the stator 12 of the electric motor is pressed and fixed into the cover member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
