PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rejection device capable of accurately rejecting a Sushi plate to be rejected in the rejection device for ejecting a plate where Sushi is put on, which is a rejection object, from a conveyor carrying Sushi. SOLUTION: A first rejection device 100 is provided with a reflection type beam sensor 101 for detecting the Sushi plate P and a bar-shaped member 103 for changing the advancing direction of the Sushi plate of the rejecting object and guiding the Sushi plate to a second rejection device 200 by being rotated in a "B" direction at a prescribed timing and being in contact with the Sushi plate. The second rejection device 200 is provided with a main body part having a motor for rotating a shaft in a "D" direction and a contact member 201 fixed to the shaft of the motor and rotated together with the shaft. The contact member 201 is formed of a material of a high frictional coefficient such as a silicone rubber and ejects the Sushi plate from the conveyor 300 by sending it in a "G" direction when the plate where the Sushi of the rejecting object is put on is brought into contact.
