<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate a bundle adjustment calculation. <P>SOLUTION: Information about image coordinates of an index detected from an image obtained by photographing the index is acquired, an initial value of the arrangement information of the index is set, and an observation equation about the information about the image coordinates of the index, a position posture of an imaging device when photographing the image and the initial value of the arrangement information of the index is solved to thereby calculate the arrangement information of the index.
