<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inhibiting a human TNFα(tumor necrosis factorα) activity. <P>SOLUTION: The method for inhibiting the human TNFαactivity comprises bringing the human TNFαinto contact with an antibody so as to inhibit the human TNFαactivity. In the method, the antibody is an isolated human antibody or an antibody-binding part dissociating from the human TNFαat≤1×10<SP>-8</SP>M K<SB>d</SB>and≤1×10<SP>-3</SP>s<SP>-1</SP>K<SB>off</SB>rate constant. Both are determined by surface plasmon resonance.
