PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a browser who browses an arbitrary web page to have the initiative in acquiring relevant information placed in another web page, and combining the information with information on the arbitrary web page. SOLUTION: This browser device makes access to a web page re-editing device to acquire a bookmarklet, and acquires a script shown by the bookmarklet selected from a browser, and reads it in a web page being displayed, and transmits a web page re-editing request from the browser to the web page re-editing device. The web page re-editing device executes a web browsing operation preliminarily prepared for each re-editing processing of a web page, and acquires the web page satisfying a web page re-editing request, and extracts relevant information satisfying the request from the web page, and transmits it to the browser device.
