摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system driving unit in which open control that eliminates the need for a position detecting sensor is achieved, the effect of the hysteresis of piezoelectric elements is reduced, and following responsiveness is high. SOLUTION: The optical system driving unit includes the piezoelectric elements 34a and 34b that are distorted by application of a voltage, and drives a reflecting member 22 by the piezoelectric elements 34a and 34b. The optical system driving device is characterized by including a voltage application section 19 by which the piezoelectric elements 34a and 34b are subjected to the application of a high frequency voltage by making the high frequency voltage being higher than the mechanical resonance frequency of the optical mechanism system composed of the piezoelectric elements 34a and 34b and reflecting member 22 and lower than the natural frequencies of the piezoelectric elements 34a and 34b overlap with a DC voltage applied to drive the reflecting member 22 to a predetermined position.
