PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic device capable of detecting the rotation position of an ultrasonic vibrator on a flexible shaft distal end side, improving the rotation accuracy of the ultrasonic vibrator and obtaining fine and stable radial images. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic device comprises: an ultrasonic probe which can be inserted to a channel 22 for treating implement insertion of an endoscope, is provided with the ultrasonic vibrator 32a for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves to/from the body cavity on the distal end part of a flexible shaft 34, and radially scans the inside of the body cavity by transmitting the rotary force of a motor through the flexible shaft 34; an encoder pattern 41a formed on the distal end side of the flexible shaft 34 for indicating the rotation position of the distal end side of the flexible shaft 34; and an encoder sensor 42 provided on the distal end part 15 of the endoscope for detecting the encoder pattern 41a of the ultrasonic probe inserted to the channel 22 for the treating implement insertion.
