PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feces collection container having low cost and excellent inspection accuracy and reproducibility, and suitable for collecting especially liquid diarrhea feces; and also to provide a feces collection container having no possibility of being infected with viruses or bacteria. SOLUTION: In this feces collection container including a feces collection rod 1 having: a grip part 11 on the base end and a feces collection part 12 on the tip, and inserted into a tubular member; the tubular member 2 into which the feces collection rod 1 is inserted movably forward and backward, whose both ends are opened; and a container body 3 equipped on the tip with a dropping part 33 closed by an easily-openable closing means 43; the feces collection rod outer wall is engaged fluid-tightly with the tubular member inner wall, and the tip part of the tubular member 2 is engaged fluid-tightly with the base end part of the container body 3, and a liquid absorbing member 121 having an approximately cylindrical tube shape is provided on the feces collection part 12 of the feces collection rod 1.
