<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction of performance in a hydrogen permeable membrane in the hydrogen permeable membrane for selectively permeating hydrogen and a production method for the hydrogen permeable membrane. <P>SOLUTION: When the hydrogen permeable membrane for selectively permeating hydrogen is produced, a metal base layer containing a metal of Group 5 and a second component capable of being oxidized, nitrided or carbonized is firstly prepared (step S100). Thereafter, a predetermined metal layer is formed on a surface of the metal base layer to form a multi-layer structure. At this time, on a surface of the multi-layer structure, a metal covering layer containing palladium (Pd) is formed (step S110-S120). Further, a compacting process for oxidizing, nitriding or carbonizing the second component is performed (step S130) to complete the hydrogen permeable membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
